How to create a Discount Code
1. Log in to the Coach Portal at https://portal.coachfirst.com/login
2. Navigate to Settings -> Payments -> Discount Codes in the menu on the left
3. Click "Add New Discount Code" button
4. Complete fields for the Discount Code
| Discount Code | Create a code that Clients will use to activate the discount (e.g. "FallFitness"); this is the code you will want to provide to your clients |
| Discount Percent | Enter the percentage discount you would like to provide for a service; if you make the discount 100% the service will be free |
| Title | Enter a title for the Discount Code (e.g. "Fall Fitness Promo"); this title is displayed to Clients once the Discount Code has been verified, and is what your Coaches will see if they are booking a service on behalf of a Client |
| Expiration Date | Set an expiration date; this is particularly helpful for limited-time promotions |
| All Locations/Location | Select the Location or branch that you would like the discount to apply for, or click on the check box to allow use at all of your locations |
| Description | Add a longer description for your own reference; note that this field is for internal use only and Clients will not see the Description |
| Assign Services & Classes | Select each service that you would like the Discount Code to apply to; note that the discount can be used for all packages associated with that service |
5. Click on "Save Discount Code" button
6. Your Discount Code is now live and ready to use!
How a Client uses a Discount Code
- Share the Discount Code with your clients via e-mail, social media, text, etc.
- When a Client books online using the Client Portal, they enter the Discount Code and click Verify to have it applied
- When a Client is booking in the CoachFirst App, they follow the same process
