Step-by-step instructions

  • From the main menu on the left, navigate to Settings -> Set Up Services -> Classes
  • Click on the "+Add Class" button
  • Create the Class Name and Class Description (these will be displayed to your Clients for public bookings)
  • If your are creating a Camp, turn on the "Is this class a Camp?" toggle and follow the guide for creating a camp; otherwise leave this toggle off for a class
  • Adjust the toggle to allow Family Members (including children, spouses, etc.) to be booked by the Primary Member for the Class; this is essential for Classes for youth athletes, and generally a good idea when you will have multiple people from the same family attending a class
  • Learn more about Primary Members and Family Members
  • Click on the "Add New Package" button and create at least one package and set your pricing for the package
    • Many coaches create a single class option
    • You can create packages for multiple classes which allows clients to purchase credits and make booking in the future even easier
  • Select the duration of the service
  • Set the maximum capacity for the Class
  • Click on "Add Class" button to save the service

Additional Options

Extra time after

  • This gives you the ability to automatically block your calendar for a set period of time after the Class is done
  • For example, some coaches will set the duration for a Class for 55 minutes (which is what the Client sees when booking) and add 5 minutes to ensure they have time before their next class or session

Access

  • The Access setting gives you options to curate who can book a particular Class
  • Public, all Clients can book
    • Once scheduled on your calendar, the Class will be on your public calendar and can be found and booked by your Clients
    • This is the standard setting that most Coaches use for their Classes
  • Private, only a Coach can book
    • A private Class that Clients can not view, and can only be booked by a Coach in the Coach Portal or Hub App
    • This allows you the highest level of control on the attendees for a Class to match things like skill levels, positions, even personalities(!)
    • Because only a Coach can book, it does require that the Coach take the client's card information, used a saved card on file, or use previously purchased credits on the client account
  • Only clients with a link can book
    • The Class will not appear on your public calendar, but clients who have the direct link for the Class are able to view and book the Class
    • This is a great option for Coaches that want to curate the Class group, and still have their Clients do the booking and handle the payment without needing the Coach to be involved
    • Once the Class has been scheduled, click on the Class in your calendar to find the link and QR code that can be sent to your Clients

Resource

  • If you have resources like like a studios or fitness rooms, pieces of equipment, or sports fields or courts that you use for the Class, you can identify those here.
  • The Resources attached to the Class are then available to include when you book a service. Note that Resources are controlled by the Coach and cannot be booked by a Client when they schedule an appointment.
  • When assigning a Resource to a Class, that Resource remains available for booking for another service; adding it is informational only
