This video tutorial walks through how to turn on client booking, and also demonstrates what your clients will see based on the settings you choose
Step-by-step instructions
- CoachFirst gives you control over what services, days, and times clients can book with you
- To set up your public calendar, set up your public availability with these 3 steps:
- Select which 1:1 services you want to be available for client booking
- Set the hours that you want to be available for 1:1 booking
- Turn on public booking for 1:1s
Making a 1:1 service publicly available for booking
- From the main menu on the left, navigate to Settings -> Set Up Services -> 1:1

- Click on the "View" button for the service
- Turn on the toggle for "Would you like to enable online bookings for this service?"

- Check the boxes for the Coaches that will be offering the service
- Note: checking the boxes does not make the Coaches publicly available for booking, which we do in the following steps
- Click on the "Save" button
Set your public availability for 1:1 services
- From the main menu on the left, navigate to Settings -> Coach Settings -> Coaches

- Click on "Availability" for the Coach
- Scroll down to view the weekly schedule of availability for the Coach

- Click on the pencil icon to update the hours of availability for a day of the week
- Use the copy icon to apply the availability for that day to another day of the week
- Click on the "Add Breaks" button if you want to add a standing break to your schedule
- Note: this schedule of weekly availability is for your standard schedule; to tailor your availability for a specific day, week, or month, please use the Block Time feature
Turn on Public Booking for 1:1s
- Once you have finished setting your weekly availability, scroll to the top of the Coach Details page
- Turn the toggle on for "Would you like to enable online bookings for this coach?"

- Congratulations, you are now live and publicly available for booking for 1:1s!
Viewing Your Public Calendar
- To see what your clients will see, you can view your public calendar and ensure it works the way you want before sending it to your clients
- Navigate to the Calendar and click on the Public Calendar link

- This will take you to your public calendar on the Client Portal
- Click on the "1:1 Sessions" button on the top left to see your services and coaches that are available to book
- You can log in using the same email and password you used to create your Coach account to see the full client experience
- Make adjustments to the settings until it looks right to you, and reach out to us at CoachFirst any time for assistance!
